Kangeyam Institute of Technology, Nathakadaiyur celebrated International Women’s Day – Sakhi’26 with enthusiasm at Kalam Auditorium. Principal Dr. S. Ramkumar welcomed the gatherings and addressed the significance of Women’s Day. The programme was graced by the Chief Guest Rtn. Dr. S. Rajalakshmi, Correspondent, Vrikshaa International School, Tiruppur and the Guest of Honor Ms. R. Sangeetha Prakaash, Passionate Storyteller, Facilitator and Founder of POKISHAM. Rtn. Dr. S. Rajalakshmi emphasized the importance of Education and empowerment for Women and encouraged students to pursue their goals with confidence. Ms. R. Sangeetha Prakaash shared inspiring stories highlighting the significance of self- confidence and continuous learning in Women’s journey towards success. Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions and the celebration witnessed active participation from students and faculty members. The programme was organized by the Women Empowerment Cell, coordinated by Dr. S. Selvi and Ms. P. Kalaipriya, along with Student leader Ms. S. Kanisha.
