The Department of Physics successfully organized a “7-Day International Interdisciplinary Research and Industry Leadership Programme (IRILP-2025)” during April 21-27, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 50 bright minds, including international participants from Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and Tanzania, as well as researchers from Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and various regions across Tamil Nadu.  Throughout the course of this event, participants gained valuable insights into a range of interdisciplinary areas, including biosensors, gas sensors, nonlinear dynamics, X-ray diffraction techniques, and the application of artificial intelligence in chemistry. In addition, focused discussions were held on research-related challenges and opportunities within academic institutions, providing valuable perspectives to the attendees. The knowledge exchanged during the event significantly enriched participants’ understanding and is expected to have a lasting impact on their research endeavours. One of the most noteworthy outcomes of IRILP-2025 has been the formation of a strong scientific network, paving the way for future collaborations and joint research initiatives across diverse disciplines on a global scale.
